Rank Prefixes.


EpicMollusc Posts: 1,535 Votes: +248 LEVEL 0	BC, or Before Christmas 2013, was a time when LC was owned by the infamous alex_markey, bc was a time when LavaCraft was in its heyday, when there were constantly 400 players connected to the server, and donators had fun saying 'sorry random explorer that I kicked'. As many of us know, LavaCraft was in a much better state back then, in the 'Good ol' days' than it is now. And yes, I would happily endure mooncat's lectures but be in the old server than be in the server in its current state (no hate please). When LavaCraft was sold to Vediovus and Juju, many features were lost, the one feature that I am going to talk about now is the rank prefixes. The current rank prefixes look like this: «LavaGod»«Explorer»«Iron» however, in my opinion, and in the opinions of a few players I have questioned, the old prefix styles and colours looked much better. Here is a picture of some of the old rank prefixes in their format: I posted this thread because I would like to have the prefixes changed to their previous state, as this is a bit of nostalga, and history of LavaCraft, and was the only server whose chat looked so 'neat' and unique, apart from MCC, which is owned by alex, the former owner of LavaCraft. These are the prefixes: Note that there were no spaces between the final bracket and the players username, and MOD's usernames were displayed as [mod][rank] Explorer rank: &7[Explorer] Coal rank: &d[&8Coal&d]&f Iron rank:&d[&fIron&d]&f Redstone rank:&d[&cRedstone&d] Gold rank: &d[&6Gold&d] Lapis rank: &d[&9Lapis&d] Diamond rank: &d[&bDiamond&d] Bedrock rank: &d[&5Bedrock&d] LavaGod rank:&4[&6Lava&cGod&4] Donator+ rank: &2[Donator&a+&2] -Donator+ rank: &2[&a-&2Donator&a+&2] +Donator+ rank: &d[&a+&2Donator&a+&d] Mod rank: &a[MOD][/color] Admin rank: &3[Admin][/color] Owner rank: &4[Owner][/color] All ranks have a &f after the final bracket to make the name white be default. FluffyEntity Posts: 30 Votes: +9 LEVEL 0	It really doesn't matter at all. Besides, we need to start seeing new things coming into Lavacraft too. We can't just keep going back to classic LC. Everyone always prefers old, Old this, Old that! I think it has to reason with the fact that LC was successful in the "Old" times which is why everyone wants it to be that way, but we need to get some "New" in there too. LC could have a bright future soon, but if we keep it the same all the time, when will we ever get there? It's just like what's going on with Minecraft and the new 1.9 update. People disgrace the update because supposedly it ruins PvP, yet they were begging Mojang for a huge update instead of all the little "bug fix" updates. Well, I guess LavaCraft does have some good distinct qualities that make it unique, like the fact that it's a survival server, not many of those are around anymore...they're all going minigame/cosmetic now.
