Hey guys,
So most of you may already know about this, but we are resetting once again. There's been many people asking about this upcoming event, and also complaining about it. So I am sort of going to explain what's going on, and try to answer most of yalls questions.

If you haven't noticed, our server's economy is pretty messed up. We would love to keep things as they are, and let everybody keep their plots, money, and stuff, but we desperately need a reset.
Just to give you an idea of why we need to:
1. Many people have been caught duping, and we can't just keep banning them all because we will end up banning more than half the server. It really is crazy whenever us staff members check people's plots, we find tons and tons of double chests filled with the same items. Mostly god gear, gapples, and diamond blocks. We really can't keep up with all of the items that have been duped. And please be aware that once we reset, all duping glitches will be patched.
2. OP/illegal items are also all around the server at the moment, and it is very hard for us to find them. Most people who own OP items are very smart and careful about where to hide them. They're usually smart enough not to store them on their main's plots, so we have to go through every single one of their alt's plots, chests, homes, etc. And some people on the server have so many alts, and constantly change their IPs, so it gets really difficult for staff members to find them. (OP or illegal items are items that you spawn in; you cannot get them legitimately. For example, a Sharpness 10 golden apple.)
3. Money is a big issue as well. I've seen people with balances of over $10 million, and it's obviously not legit, even if they claim it is. We also feel like some of the prizes we've been giving out were too OP, so we'd just like a fresh start.

Now, some of the questions that you may have:
When is the reset? December 1st, 2015.
How long will it last? I cannot be precise about this, but I doubt it will take longer than a day.
What is resetting? Everything. Plots, /chest, enderchest, inventories, balance (money, /bal), homes.
The only thing that you are keeping are your ranks, particles, and pets, if you have purchased any.
Why do you have to reset plots too? The main place where people keep their stuff at are their plots, and it would be really hard, if not impossible, to reset all the items without resetting plots as well.
Why is the economy so important? Who cares if people have tons of duped stuff? Maybe some of you do not care about the economy, but it's crazy how easy it is to get most of the "expensive stuff" nowadays. We want to make it fun for everyone on the server. And to have a successful server we need a good, working economy. And if most players got their items the "easy way", then it's not fun for the few people who actually have to work to get their stuff.
Is staff's stuff getting reset too? Yes. It will be the same for players and staff members; we lose our stuff too.

We would really appreciate it if you guys didn't complain so much about the reset, since we're only doing it for the good of the server. Please do understand that it is the whole server who is losing their stuff, not only you. We know that some of you have worked really hard on your plots, or on getting legit god gear, etc, but it's everybody who is losing their stuff.. so please don't be selfish about it.
After this, we will have a working economy, and hopefully we won't have many problems or glitches to worry about!

I am personally really excited about the reset. I have 9 plots that I completely adore, but I would like to start over with an actual working economy this time!
